Bryan Kane Strittmatter

Bryan always had a sports ball in hand, and it was to no one’s surprise that the first ball he ever picked up was a football. His love of sports grew from a very early age and his parents, John and Rosanne, knew that he was going to be something special. While growing up with three siblings, Sean, Julia and Luke, there was always a fun and competitive nature in the house that made each sibling striving to outperform the other.

While being involved in basketball, football and soccer year round, you could always find him on a court or field somewhere. He was never a one sport type of guy because his athleticism took over in all different categories. When entering high school at Our Lady of Good Counsel in 2011, Bryan’s sole sport was football, the game he loved from the very beginning. You always knew that when you would play with or against Bryan, his leadership, competitiveness and determination to win were always at 110%.

After leaving Good Counsel in the midst of his junior year and completing his junior year off at Churchill, Bryan finished his high school career at The Avalon School, graduating in 2015.

After graduation, Bryan attended the University of Dayton. He then moved to Chicago in 2019, following his four years at Dayton. While making Chicago his new home, he made lasting impressions on the people he worked with and those around him. His personality was contagious and his laughter could be heard from miles away. Bryan “lived life to the fullest” and showed everyone around him what that meant.
